My favorite is Ground Improvements, which is nearing 500 pages and been running now for nearly 4 years. Some fans are never satisfied they have had all new cladding and iron gates.

Bob - it is done!!

Are we there yet?? How many more corners?? Are we there yet?

Can we have it in colour, with charts and pics and stuff. PLEEEAASE, are we there yet?

Week by week analysis please, with teams in bright red as they become impossible to catch. Can't be long now before the maths kicks in. This is better than Christmas, and I thought that was settled with the points in the entire league chart.

They seem to absolutely hate their players.

Even in the darkest Hyypia days I don't think the stick that Gardner etc. got was anything like as extreme.

As fun as it is to follow the trials and tribulations of our friends up the road, we all know, deep down, that in the tight situation they're in, they're probably going to go on run of results at some stage, and will drag themselves out of the pit, probably at the expense of Leicester.

It's almost inevitable.

That is true. Which is why we should enjoy it now.

Coupled with us missing out in the Play Offs! It's our lot in life.

You're quite right we all know they are too good to go down, so when the inevitable upturn begins we'll just have to grin a bear it.

The only thing in our favour is their complete lack of self-awareness, which means we can take solace in them not being in Europe, next season.

Yes. I have been banging my head against the wall repeatedly after watching the PL's 5th highest scorers concede ridiculously soft goals week after week because our defensive coaching is so poor.

When Pardew goes this team will fly up the table. The likes of Benteke and Zaha are far too good to be playing in the bottom half of the league. Wilf has 7 assists and 2 goals in his last 7 games, which is the sort of form that will see Spurs calling with a £30m bid in January.

The squad we've got is good enough to compete with the top 7/8 teams in this division. The likes of Benteke, Zaha, Cabaye, Mandanda are all superb players who would excel in a team managed by a competent individual. The reason we're struggling this season is because we've conceded the most set piece goals of any team in the division. If we had someone like Allardyce or Pulis we'd be absolutely fine. This team is far, far superior to the side Pulis came 11th with a couple of years ago; the difference is that we're now being set up by a cretin.

Their run-in is:

Chelsea (A)
Southampton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Leicester (H)
Liverpool (A)
Burnley (H)
Man City (A)
Hull (H)
Man Utd (A)

That run of results had better turn up sharpish, because a run of results doesn't look overly likely once they hit April...

As is Leicester. But is that going to be enough ? With Hull and Swansea on a bit of an upturn, they're going to need an unbeaten run to come from somewhere to climb out of this, not the odd win here and there.

It's a shame that they have the guaranteed morale boost of another unlikely win against Liverpool. I still think they are going to be okay, just because its hard to believe that any team can sustain the dismal run of results that they have been on for much longer.

At least there is no possibility this year of Connor Wickham temporarily turning into a world beater as he usually seems to going into a relegation scrap.
