I’d have joined in but I didn’t hear it - I love his contribution all over the pitchWas trying to get a new song going for Minteh before the game to chorus of Zombie by the Cranberries !
“Yankuba, Yankuba, Minteh, Minteh, Minteh eh eh”
We had 'Minteh again ole ole'I’d have joined in but I didn’t hear it - I love his contribution all over the pitch
I’d amend slightly
Yankuba Minteh, Yankuba Minteh
Minteh, Minteh, Minteh,
Minteh, etc…..
Made me laugh, two lads who I know, who I usually would expect to be at the forefront of that, were having a very civil conversation about the civil rights of Palestine and whether Israel had a right to the land in a historical context. Quite surreal reallyIn the cold light of day, not too sure about the abuse metered out to the Free Gaza march which went past Yatesy's around 1pm.
Surely we're better than that?

Can you teach him the words next timeIt was a great day out, my eldest was 18 this weekend so we hired a hummer and took him and mates and grown ups. The southampton stewards wouldn't let us near the ground but funny enough our driver managed to park up with the coaches for after the game.
It was certainly a day to remember, if only I could remember all of it
Judging by how many people henhas asked , this book is going to have more forewords than a kevin keegan era Newcastle teamFor some reason @Lenny Rider asked me to write the foreword to his biography. Not entirely sure why!

All it needs is someone to shout “and then I saw his face” and everyone, and I mean everyone, will sing “now I’m a baleba”But still no "I'm a Baleba" song.
Surely this could have been sorted out in the pre-match pub.![]()

It’s like Miss World, I’m going to pick the best oneJudging by how many people henhas asked , this book is going to have more forewords than a kevin keegan era Newcastle team
Indeed, not heard a single person say the dreaded line “I’m only going for the points”, except for one person, who I think lives on another planet to the rest of us!Was just a good fun day out. I do think away atmosphere has been a lot better this season. More people going for the football and day out rather than the loyalty points
Ian from Worthing is a shapely 45, 45, 42. His hobbies are boxing and, er, 'boxing'. He loves animals especially puppies and wants world peace and all nonces to be chemically castratedIt’s like Miss World, I’m going to pick the best one![]()
Yes I joined in with that oneu

100% this. This season’s aways have been a total rollercoaster for me in terms of results but trying to have a laugh and getting a few drinks in have been a constant in all of them. Much better than overhearing people on trains or writing on here going “ohhh, I’m almost up to 280 points…”Was just a good fun day out. I do think away atmosphere has been a lot better this season.
