Just got in from seeing this...

Tremendous effort.. well worth a view. Stays beautifully true to the quality and feel of the first 2 Superman films...

Its dull and too long - full of plot holes as well.

poor show

It definitely could have ended about 10 - 15 minutes earlier. The ending was too cliched.

Too long and nothing much in regards to 'a story line'. The effects were good though - lets just hope when they make the second one that they introduce a few more villans to make it a bit more interesting.

Also not sure they needed all the stuff about his up bringing at start? Hollywood seems to think nless a film is pushing 3 hours its not good enough.

OK on the whole i thought it was quality and had me smiling through most of it.

Do not read on if you haven't seen it yet.

If you are familiar with the previous films and general Superman history there are a few plot holes. My biggest gripe is that this Jason kid is obviously Superman's and I assume he was conceived in SII when Superman was 'normal' and slept with Lois. So if he was 'normal' why does the kid have powers?

Out of all the special effects I find the most memorable one is that there are no lame whooshing and swooshing sounds when Superman lands and takes off. All you hear is the flapping of his cape which is how it would really be of course.

I thought the ending was a bit weak but on the whole Superman has been brought bang up to date and it was GREAT!

Yep, exactly how it would be in real life, as he flies off around the world at the speed of sound

:lolol: ;)
