We have a fair amount of southern supporters that can get there no bother. A rough estimate would be 1,500+ on the day.

As an established premier league team I would of thought this would be a competition Steve Bruce believes

Someone, on here, has quoted Bruce saying this season was a serious cup year.

I see Sunderland as one of the 10 - 12 teams who certainly are not going to win it, or even top 5.
But only have to have half an eye on relegation.

Seeing Stoke and esp Birmingham, in Europe, this year, must really grate these teams.
Sunderland et al are going to go all out for FA & League cup, this year, and for years to come.

Bruce has said he's taking it seriously, although he said that last season and we lost to Notts County at home.
