Am I right in thinking that the Palace fans will be at the usual away corner, and assuming the new stand is ready in time, it will be blue and white for this game only?

Thats what I reckon. Looks like it will be a last minute panic at the club ticket office if the new stand is allowed to be used.

With the extra seats, are we going to get 8,000 + this weekend against Palarse ?

Woooohoooooo:p

No, because there are less than 1k extra seats available, however we should be looking at upwards of 7,500 with any luck!

errrr - i thought that new end was for away fans?!!?

It is but I can't believe that the club has sold tickets to Palace supporters for a stand that has not been passed fit for use.

Could you imagine the chaos if 700+ palace supporters turn up on Sunday and they are told that the section of the ground they have tickets for is not open!

If it's not fit for use, why would they sell tickets to Brighton fans for it?

They would have had to send Palace their tickets about 3-4 weeks ago. The club could not take the risk of the stand not being ready in time.

If it is, will the free up the tickets for us? That's the bigger question.

They are not selling any yet. Official site says fans who have applied for the extra tickets will know by Thursday if the tickets are to be released. If it is not fit for use no one will be using it.
