This years rich list is out tomorrow.

Will the secretive Mr Bloom appear. My guess would be no - but if he is listed as a billionaire it may push up any potential transfer fees.

He's not been listed any other year.
Although I think he might be in the Aussie one.

As usual keep an eye out for Archer and Stanley.

Do all these rich folks get a questionnaire to complete giving full details of their wealth and assets, or do the Sunday Times snatch the figures out of the air and add a few educated guesses to the process?

nearer the later. i imagine the researchers are pretty confident on their sources and such. Bloom has previously been below the radar, i'd be very surprised if he didnt feature now, splashing out on a new stadium in the Championship.

An awful lot of guesswork goes into it.

It's all done on declared wealth and what is available in the public domain. If you own a large stake in a floated company the financial data is readily available so most figures are pretty reliable, but there will be many people who won't appear because they don't want to provide the details, either because they are are private people or because they are playing games with the tax man.

Archer is in it. No 596 £125M

On May 13th the next lot is out - If TB is not in that he must have some amazing way of staying out of it because he is hardly off the radar.

He's got no money here it's all in Australia hidden away

er, he's pumped 100+million into a rather large football stadium nestling in the south downs, and paying for a training complex along the shores of the river Arun. this would suggest he has money here and its not hidden anywhere either. he might well come up in the Aussie version rather than the UK on the basis of residency, dont know their rules to deciding that)

They estimate undeclared stuff & include, some complain it's too low & provide proof to bump themselves up
