Roast Leg of Lamb, with Cauliflower Cheese (au gratin for the snobs) Leeks, Honey Coated roast Parsnips, swede, carrotts green beans and peas obviously with Roast Potatoes,must be Maris Piper for crispness, and wife will do yorkies but not for me with Lamb as I am a traditionalist and only have them with beef.

Everything was going so well until this last statement. Why do some people cling to tradition. Change is good.

Yorkies are needed for all roasts - homemade or aunt bessies.

Looking forward to my Roast Beef with Yorkshire pud very shortly after eating complete shite for the last three days - McDonalds, Burger King and KFC.

That is the view of the rest of my family but I am happy with just mint sauce with my lamb or sometimes onion sauce.

Good work BG, as long as you are happy, that is what counts. Nice onion sauce work though.

I agree it seems like a nothing sauce addiing nothing to the meal at all, is that not the reason for a sauce, to add something and compliment a good meal.
