In the papers this week they reported that Roast Chicken has taken over from Beef as the nations favourite roast dinner. On a Sunday I still prefer Beef but do have Chicken or Belly Pork as a midweek roast.

Enjoy your chicken.

I'm having vegan toad-in-the-hole with roast potatoes, peas and gravy.

This means we are heading for a recession, genuine.

I did roast chicken stuffed with lemon and thyme, butternut squash, green beans, loads of roast Maris pipers that came out a treat, and chicken gravy.

Standard.

So after yesterdays 'disappointment' lets concern ourselves with Sunday Roast Dinner. What you cooking today, or what would you cook if you were doing it.

In Chez Westdene today :

Slow roast pork belly
Polenta roast potatoes
Honey roast parsnips
Sage and onion stuffing
Yorkies
Parsley carrots
Minted peas
Buttered sweetcorn
Pigs in blankets
Cauliflower cheese
Fried corgettes
Mashed swede

..... and of course lashings of gravy !!!!

Are you a chef at the Withdean Sportsman?
