Only on NSC, a stalwart of the board makes a comment about the pub owned by someone who is an equal stalwart, both having raised thousands for local charities, inc REMF, and someone, somehow, can find a reason to criticise.

Brett is a top man, a top fan and a top landlord. Only gripe I've got (as a prior resident of Kent) with the Caxton Arms is its lack of Shepherd Neame classic beers - assuming the SN pub sign is still current. Last half dozen times during the pandemic that I've done my bit and supported the pub, there's been no Master Brew, No Bishop's Finger, just some wishy-washy generic ale. Dunno if it's no longer a SH house or what, but for now have had to reluctantly scrub the Caxton from our habitual pub crawl. Tho it seems to be doing great guns again now. So more power to your elbow Brett, genuinely pleased for you after these toughest of times. Cheers mate

Mrs H and I had our booster jabs today at Churchill Square so took the long overdue opportunity to have Sunday lunch at Brett Mendoza’s Caxton Arms in BN1

Both the food and service were Ten out of ten, surely part of the edict of the Albion/NSC family should be to look out for and support each other?, so I heartily( pardon the pun) recommend as many of you to do the same in the run up to Xmas. 👍 (And beyond)

Just got back from our Sunday roast at the Caxton Arms based on your recommendation. Superb ... great food, service and lovely atmosphere. We will be returning

I know that this is completely irrelevant to anyone thinking of visiting the Caxton for Sunday lunch or at any other time but Mr Mendoza does also have an excellent recruitment template for bar staff ???
