My U15s will run out of time with home games at Buckingham Park as the posts come down end of March so may have to use Waterhall.

My dad always called me and my brother 'lids', you just adopt what you heard as a kid sometimes! :D

Mind you, they used to sing the 'catch a fishie by his toe' song a bit different when I was a kid too! When I heard my little one start singing it for the first time at nursery - I got a bit worried, until they reached the fishie bit!
When I was a kid, we didn't even know the other word was derogatory - it was just a rhyme!
Oh the innocence of 'lids'!! and the harm parents do! :p

But I'm off subject. football football football. ref's bad decisions. sack the board. blah blah,
see - I'm not Mrs Nesbitt!

There is only one double-header we can play now

Luckily, mini-soccer is only friendly basis up to 10 so we wont have to re-organise ours. We've just volunteered for the Under 6's too (mad mad mad mad mad :D) so on our free weeks, we'll be watching 'flock of seagulls' football again. 12 kids all booting round the ball in a circle, with the goalies sitting on the floor at either end of the pitch, usually eating bugs! love 'em! :lolol:

we're scheduled to play at 2pm at Waterhall, anyone any ideas if that's still likely to be on?
