I get all the ribbing from my mates who could lie in the Sun for two weeks and not change colour, they only go scarlet red

My late grandfather spent WW2 strafing Rommel out in north Africa. Lived in a tent and outside an aircraft only wore his underpants.
When he got home he'd managed to achieve a light apricot colour.

Which is a long-winded way to say I've never understood why some people are so insistent on fighting against their natural range of complexion.

Two very fair young uns plus one of a slightly hardier complexion means we run through suncreams at a frightening rate.
Keep falling to apply any to myself but my palms are astonishingly well protected.

You put it on your trees? :ohmy:
