Why would you want to release our top scorer expecially when he has just signed a new contract? He might not be 1st choice next season but surely he would be useful to have on the bench?

Depends what division we’re in.
There’s no harm in keeping Muzza as back up, he still scored vital goals this season that stopped us being relegated already with Hudd and Fulham.

I’d keep Murray for his experience and cup games but his game time in the league should be very minimal.
I’d keep Kayal as he doesn’t let us down and I think he’s a better option than Stephens anyway. Would totally understand if he wanted to go and get more game time though, same as Balogun.
Wouldn’t give up on AJ yet, see how he gets on in the second season before making a decision.
I actually quite like Locadia but I don’t think he’s quite good enough as either a striker or a winger. Would rather we made some money back on him and invested it in a stronger player who’s a specialist in one of those positions.

I would ask yet once again how much would it cost to replace Propper and Stephens with players as good. I would suggest about £50m when the money would be better spent on other more pressing positions.
Centre midfield IS the most pressing position. By a country mile.

It is clear to absolutely everybody else that centre midfield is our weak point - the most important position on the pitch - and you’re saying we’ve got more pressing positions?!
I accept we also badly need another decent striker and probably a better winger than we have but centre midfield HAS to be our priority. We’re completely controlled in midfield most games.

Stephens : Unless we spend big we'll end up with 'like for like'
Propper : I think he'll come good with more game time
Bong : Flame me, but I don't think he's PL quality and I'd get rid of him.
Bruno : Love the guy. Have him on the staff, not the pitch.
Knockaert : I'd love to see him be given more of a licence to roam. He's bloody good when he jinks and swerves you know.. I think he's PL quality.
AJ : More game time needed. I'm undecided about his ability in the PL, though.
March : I always feel like he's on 2/3 throttle and there's a switch that needs pressing to turbo charge the bugger.. I have no idea what, or where that switch is.

What a crap crap thread. Obviously started and perpetrated by those with little understanding of where we have been, come from and now are! Top division in England, Cup Semi Final, odds on , sorry well odds on, to stay up this season.
