Probably a bit late now ....
It's a superb example of:
a) freedom of speech / expression of opinion [within legal constrains mostly]
b) don't believe everything you read
c) learn that people are individuals and opinions differ on the same subject [eg match / player]
d) example of virtual friendships - most NSCers have never met each other [knowingly]
e) once you consider the above, it can present [some] learning opportunity.
