So sad. People need to realise that something posted on a website does not detract from the meaning of an offensive message.

Heartbreaking that she felt she had no-one to help her.

That is honestly one of the cruellest things I've ever seen. Unfortunately bullying will probably never be stamped out because it always evolves...but the guy who kept doing that to her was harassing her, a fifteen year old kid. To wish death on someone is an unbelievable thing, so soulless to even contemplate it. RIP.

You see stories like this occasionally, and my first thought is "The parents, where were they?" I'm not a dad, but I can't imagine being that ignorant (not using that pejoratively). Is it easy these days to not know your son or daughter is in a right old mess?

Really sad story. There was a girl who went to my school who had nude photos of her sent around to everyone but most people defended her and the guy who sent the original photos ended up getting beaten up.

My first and only non sensitive thought.....why get invovled with a guy who has a gf even if you thought he liked you?

At any rate this is another example of the horrible society we have these days...... Been down the path (not to the same extent IE Death threats) and I can relate to alot of what she says..... RIP Amanda....sad story

unfortunately, because she wanted someone to love her, but all she got was someone who took advantage of her and destroyed her (amongst others)

Trolls are cowardly scum.......how they live after their actions heaven knows....surely posting messages like 'I hope she dies' is as bad as a death threat and ought to be treated like as that....I called them scum.....and that's being generous.

I only watched half of it, but that's pretty f***ed up.

I think what it highlights the most is the dangers of the internet if you're a naive teenage girl. Getting her tits out to someone started a whole nasty chain of events, but there were plenty of people who had the power to stop those events simply by supporting the girl or intervening. I'd like to know what her parents, her schools and the police were doing when people were turning up at her house and photos were being circulated, unless the law is different over there, surely that's harassment.

There's got to be much more to this story

Powerful stuff. Thanks for posting. Odd that it all still goes on to this day and we are no nearer sorting this shit out.

the question has to be asked, why are these young girls getting their kit off for random blokes to take photos of?

Kids are very good at keeping things kept hidden! I tried to kill myself once, and when I was in therapy, I told my counseler and my mum was genuinely horrified that I had, she had no idea

Im not saying mine was as bad as her's but believe me....I know from experience alot of what she went through.

That sounds like you made mistakes in your life. Everyone does and teenagers always will. A sad fact of life. Would be nice to know if the canadian police did something about this!

A disgusting act by the bullies.

I have children and this highlights why I'm always very strict with what they can use on the internet - what they can get to is completely locked down and I can see the logs of where they've been. Some people have called me over protective but I'd rather be that than see them get cyber-bullied.
