Motor neurone disease. How grim. Is this disease somehow more common in this day age, or is it just more reported?

RIP.

Met her numerous times on industry events and was always good value, helpful to those starting out in journalism and never any trouble for the people/company who had invited her.

She loved dropping in the Top Gear reference, but she'd earned that right and, like you say, paved the way for many other females to write about cars.

RIP Sue. A horrible disease to suffer with.
