I have the late 70's/early 80's 'Floodlight Edition' which has two Goldstone-esque drenchlighting pylons safely stored in the loft - I'm waiting for he day I can pass it on to a junior-Lankyseagull.

I also have an almost complete Subbuteo Cricket set.

Getting all nostalgic now!

The numbers oh my what a pain .Still have a Euro 84 edition in the loft .you got 15 players in that edition France and West Germany .Anyone have the indoor edition with the blue pitch and walls ?Or was i the only one?

Yeah I had that too. Handy for a quick kick about.

What about painting your first league black players? If I remember right they were not produced for some time. Think mine might have been Laurie Cunningham.

I had a friend who painted one of his Real Madrid players black to signify it was Cunningham .Peru circa 81 was the 1st team i recall being painted all black.

I could be wrong but I think it took a lot longer for our league teams to get any black players. Producing a whole black or white team was obviously a lot easier than inserting the Three Degrees into the West Brom box...
