Not trolling.

I find it highly funny that, Shearer, Wright, and Savage were all letting him have it last night.

All 3 of them were no angels at times, and now they take the moral high ground.

Suerez was out of line, a slippery move.

But the over reaction is mental imo

How many 'assaults' have taken place on the field over the years.. 100's

Only one conviction I can think of

Reckon you are opening a can of worms if you want criminal convictions on this

Why a can of worms? If someone does something wrong like this, they deserve to be punished.

so, a flying elbow is also assault also

the amount of court cases in sport for assaults would be ridiculous

If it takes those types of things to get rid of the thuggery in football then so be it.

So in your opinion, what does a player have to do on the field of play before they get punished ? GBH ? Rape ? Murder ?

The slimeball committed assault and just because it was on a football pitch and just because there have been other assaults that have gone unpunished does not mean he should get away with it.

No it's not - it depends on the intention. Most flying elbows are accidental - try proving which are accidental and which aren't. The film footage of the bite clearly shows he meant to do it.

I think table tennis is more suited for you, off the ball incidents are exciting and gets people talking

all part of Association Football

The more characters, thugs, divers, hard men we have is better for the global game

As a neutral watching 2 teams kick lumps out of each other is ace :D

Can't tell if fishing, but perhaps some time in therapy might suit. The padded walls are great, you can punch them like your idols and not hurt a thing!
