Bleary eyed after a few hours sleep the other morning and running late I stumbled into the bathroom reached inside the thingy where I store everything pulled out an aerosol and sprayed liberally under my arms pausing to stop only when I realised it was shaving foam and not the deodarant stored next to it.

Anyone else got any similar tales of idiocy?

Knakered after moving house I decided it would be a good idea to gently remove the packaging on a tin opener with carving knife. Slipped, nearly removed my finger. Spent an evening in casualty when all I wanted to do was go to bed.

(finger is now in full working order)

I built a flat-pack DVD cabinet, and nailed the backboard to the front. Had to prise it off again, f***ing up all the wood on the front of the cabinet. Its got holes and scratches, and EVERYTHING now.

Walked out of my house on Tuesday morning, as soon as the front door shut I realised that I'd left my house keys and my car keys inside, meaning that I couldn't even drive to college and hope that someone might be in by the time I got home. I've also locked my car keys inside my car before, with the spare set about 20 miles away! :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

During needlework at school I sewed the front pocket of my fishermans smock to the front AND back of the garment and didn't realise until I tried to put it over my head. Why on earth the got us to make fishermans smocks is beyond me.

On NSC for over two decades...
A few years ago I got a new job within the company I was working at, but hadn't had the official letter through. I composed an e-mail to my mates to tell them my good news. I went to select the distribution list and sent the e-mail, only to then realise that I'd e-mailed my news to my department and not my mates!!!!!

The new job was as a software tester!! I should have known better!!!
