I like doing the match day threads but I don't want to hog it if someone else wants to do it.
What kind of attitude is that? If someone else starts one, they should be banned, thread deleted, and you should start one as if it never happened.

It's a message board for god sake. We're passionate. We want promotion. Hell, given our £8m+ losses you could argue we NEED promotion.

We're not at Withdean anymore. We're not playing the waiting game, riding out season of mediocrity until the Amex is built. It is built, but to pay for it and keep it full we need to be in the Premier League.

To do this we need to beat Bristol. To do this we need to have a shot on target against Bristol. To do this we need to have a shot against Bristol.

It's not hard to work out is it? Yay, great, we just chucked away two points against a team bottom of the league because of our dull and negative tactics, a tally reliant on Ashley f***ing Barnes as our only backup striker. Let's celebrate! Wooohooo!

Imagine what Boro's version of this beaut is coming out with this morning. The Ayresome Abscess..........

Bristol City's last 5 home results:

City 2 Ipswich 1
City 2 Watford 0 (that is, unstoppable, 2nd in the table, Watford)
City 2 Forest 0 (that is on a great run, definitely gonna catch us, if you're a pessimist, Forest)
City 5 Barnsley 3
City 0 Albion 0

What a terrible result, WE ARE DOOMED!

Results went well last night, but when you spend time and money to watch a weekday evening game, it's nice to be entertained and watch your team have a go at scoring. If all fans cared about was results then the 1000 odd that went last night could have just checked the BBC website at 9-40.

Of course it's nice to be entertained but surely we all know that, occasionally, there will be games that don't go as we'd like, the team are poor and we're disappointed. But that's football; in many years of watching the Albion and spending huge amounts of time and money, I've seen dozens and dozens of games like that and fully expect to see more. Hopefully, like now, they will be few and far between.

Where on our tickets does it say that we're guaranteed entertaining and winning football? Do the players deliberately play poorly? They are human beings, not machines, and we're all fallible.

Get over it and move on.... Saturday is another day.

I think you'll find promotion is still possible without doing any of those things.

In some of our remaining games we will play really well, in others we may play not so well. I really fail to see what there is to get too excited about. Just as saturday's 4-1 win does not make us world-beaters, neither does last night's underwhelming performance make us shit. What is wrong with having a sense of perspective around here?

Yes because in the last season at Withdean we were riding out a season of mediocrity. Oh no I remember now we were winning the 1st Division. You seriously need to get some perspective.

I was one of those people, I still had a lovely day even though we didn't play well and the result was a perfectly acceptable one.

Withdean Wanderer is by far my favourite poster. He says it as it is and doesn't give a shit what people think. He is just honest

100% THIS. Some idiots on here will simply put up with anything in their blind adoration of Poyet.

I do not have a real problem with last night's draw, but negative football and NO shots on target from a promotion chasing team is simply bollox! Nearly 900 of our loyal fans went down there to be subjected to it as well.
