Thus far just over half the tickets for the Fa Cup Fith round against Liverpool have been sold. This is a disgrace, So many Season Ticket Holders yet so few sales.

8000 on a Tuesday night sold out, like we did at Cardiff 4000 tuesday night both on the TV, Equally as expensive as going to Anfield, slight difference is we had to take a day off work to travel as the game is not on a Sunday.

Which puts to bed the daft suggestion that Brighton fans are plastic while palace fans were die hards.

If only you could get fans to turn up for league games eh.

Why not make a weekend of it ? I'm going up Saturday and staying in a Travelodge at Widnes, just 8 miles from Anfield. Only £30.00 for a double/treble room. Can then spend Saturday night in Liverpool and then take in the Beatles museum Sunday morning before going to watch us beat Liverpool in the afternoon. I reckon I'll be home before midnight if I'm on the motorway by 19.00. Cant wait ---- bring it on !!!!

Got 5 £30 tickets!!! Can't wait. If anyone's interested then KGB deals are doing a deal for the Holiday Inn Express in Liverpool for £39. Check with the hotel first before booking... just in case all sold out. A friend of mine booked last night.
