We have lost 2 of the best players in there positions that have ever played for Albion. We will miss Cucurella attacking play and his reading of the game when making recovery tackles. Of course still have very good midfielders but who is going to make all the winning tackles that Bissoma was so good at that started our attacking play.

When struggling to score can see a lot of March swapping to right and hope Mitoma can produce the goods on the right

Lost two good players, but don’t see we are substantially weaker. We will do things differently to suit the players available to us, which is what Mr Potter is good at.

We did plenty of good stuff at the end of last season with Bissouma not at his best, and Cucurella for all his attacking play had 1 assist (?) and 1 goal

Impressive length of reply without actually answering the very simple question.

See if you can actually bring yourself to answer the question, short format, no essays, weaker or stronger, it’s one or the other…

I was pretty clear “we’ll miss them”. One was POTS last year, one should have been in 20/21. The team is weaker without them, the squad (the 19 likely to be picked) is though stronger in other areas and Potter makes our players better YOY - that’s what he does so forgive the caveats and answers longer than three words.

I know the question is designed to be a gotcha - fine it’s NSC - but the comparison should really be at end of August.
Is our team/squad tomorrow stronger than at Burnley (A) - Aug 2021.
And then ask again for Leeds (H)… vs Brentford (A) 2021.
But hey …

Clearly weaker. You don't cash in on players of the calibre of Cucurella and Bissouma without taking a major hit in terms of results unless you are prepared to replace like for like. Which we're not

You called Bissouma "overrated, silly dumb boy" multiple times last season. What changed your mind? (other than the opportunity to do some shitstirring pessimism).

We are so doomed. Relegation, financial meltdown and a return to the stone-age are certainties.

Barber, Potter, Weir and the caterers out!!

Weaker initially, but still top ten finish. Bring it on!!
