Striker...Who will it be?

Going on the fact that Gus used the word "experenced" when talking about vital positons, who will the new striker be, as to my mind that rules out Barnes. Although we may still get him anyway..I realise there is no such thing as a real free transfer, as the money goes on signing on fees etc etc. But as yet we have not paid a fee, if as rumoured we offered £250k for Greer, this would suggest to me the kitty for a striker could be as much as £750k-£1m....Or a top free agent, so who will it be?.....I pop for Freddy Eastwood or Steve Howard.

Steve Howard would not to my mind be a focal point striker that Gus would spend money on. Eastwood may be another Dickinson situation.

Jason Scotland? Has hardly set the Premier League alight with 1 goal all season at Wigan, would fit the bill for us - but unlikely to drop down two divisions, and is on a fairly lengthy contract with them.

I'll keep looking..

To be honest though, I'll end up spending all night looking through Championship squads only for it to be a foreigner from the Spanish league/South America! Pretty exciting stuff, regardless - and I should think we've got a fair whack to spend.

I reckon it may be Clinton Morrison, recently released at Championship level and would command a decent wage but with Dickinson on his way out, and with Bloom's financial clout it could happen..........
