Striker...Who will it be?

Nobody.

I think we'll go into the season with Murray and Barnes as our main two, then Holroyd and the Argie as back up.

The more I think about it the more I think Gus is keeping his powder dry so to speak.

Which means he'll see how we go with the options we have now before making a decision whether to make a decent sized move for another striker.

Harewood & Vennegoor of Hesselink are the stand out players in that list, both would command 10 - 15k p/w though and to be honest would they be satisfied with League 1 football? ???

I don't think this is the case. If we are to challenge, we need to hit the ground running, and that means having all key palyers in place by the time we play Swindon.

Plus Poyet has said that a striker is a priority.

If the right one is available.

If we had an option A,B,or C and they are all gone he might not think signing option G is worth the money if it isn't better than what we already have.

Harewood hasn't got a choice. He's 31 and losing pace so either he plays 2nd choice for a shit team in the lower championship or he is first choice for higher League 1. The thing is, I don't think he's Gus' kind of player.
