Seriously can we just get rid of the palace idiots to an away end. They have been spending all day hoping reading win so they can come on here spouting. Albion play a great game so they come on here with some other drivel wind up shite instead.
They do ruin this site sometimes (all the time actually)

Yes, they do don't they. Specialists at derailing threads about albion issues, and thus preventing us discussing issues about our club amongst ourselves. :nono:

Does anyone else think the red card was harsh?

Ulloa was clearly going for the ball and only looking at the ball. He pulled his foot away at the last second and only seemed to brush the guys shoulder.

The Reading player (to his credit) didn't make a fuss and Ulloa's apology was immediate.

Also, high foot isn't usually anything more than a free kick.

It did look a bit Honk Kong Phooey but I really think another ref (who hadn't just sent off a home-team player) would have left it as a yellow or maybe even a warning.

Or am I biased and is nearly kicking someone's face off a red?

I did watch the second half. Barnes got into some very good positions like he usually does and always has done since the withdean days playing up front, but the end product is not that of a championship player that will get you into the playoffs. He was a bit unlucky today yes, but he is too often unlucky in my opinion.

Everybody around me was jumping about with excitement when Barnes got his chances, I however was not excited because I am always confident he will miss in front of goal. Kind of ruins watching the Albion when its that predictable.

I don't think I have been so down with an Albion red card since Oatway got sent off at chesterfield and they scored in the last minute. :-(

Simples don't watch the Albion then

So in your opinion it would ruin watching the Albion if Barnes scored every chance he had as it would be too predictable?

Crickey mate, talk about hypothetical question, Barnes, CMS, Lua Lua in fact anyone in this side all get the collywobbles when in sight of goal and they have shown time and time again that they cant hit the back of the net. The goalie, the post, the bar, sure but actually scoring a chance? Not unless they have missed about 8 others!

T hat was my brothers view who was there. He thought the ref made a balls up with the first red card not realizing he had booked the player and was trying desperately to even it up to make amends.

Umm No. I would forgive him for tripping the odd ref here and there and forget the cupped hands behind ear celebration to his own fans. I would probably get his name tattooed across my back after our champions league victory and change my son's name to Ashley.

However after the third champions league/premier league double the predictability may get a bit tiresome.

Sorry Zebedee, I was commenting on DumLums post about Barnes on page 2 but forgot to include his quote. My mistake...forgiven?

Of course. No problem.

Cheer up. I feel on a high. I think we are on the verge of something big with Oscar. Yes, Ulloa was sent off but we do have Barnes (Ok he is marmite and we won't agree on him) but the rest of the team put in a stirling performance. Good to see Lua Lua and Lopez putting in good shifts and we still have Conway to start. Hopefully Bridcutt will be fit soon. Just need CMS and Orlandi back (I have given up on Hoskins, not his fault, these things happen).

I still can't believe we had to get a last minute equaliser against Millwall though.

I am very happy with the manager and the squad also. Very much looking forward to Bridcutt and cms's return also. I'm just not a fan of marmite all over my roast dinner.
