Would I be happy spending millions on Barnes as the main striker option? No.

Would he be a good signing for the squad if he's going on the cheap? Yes.

I'd like this to happen just to see how many people implode with rage.

I would definitely take him.

Committed, played at the right level, knows the club, knows some of the players, knows the area. Personally would rather have him in the number 10 shirt than Groß.

Why not?

At number nine ...

I'd love this to happen - not as a main striker but a great squad player.

It won't be us unfortunately, but I'd love it, if he did come back. I could wear my signed shirt again.

Quick search, it seems to be WBA, after him.

My Barnes shirt could be coming out of the closet!

Would he sign for us again though? After the abuse he and his family suffered here before...

I'd happily have him back. Obviously not if it scuppers the move for Ulloa

I'd have Barnes over Ulloa ... younger, more versatile (could play in the hole if needed) and useful bloke to have around if a punch-up starts :)
