Don't agree with all of this but the fact that killings by knife or gun are daily now in LOndon and weekly in my area, a similar scenario brought troops into Ireland?

my point being that heaven forbid you put a cordon round peckham or hackney and started searching everyone in and out. imagine that.

trident are a joke, and it is saddening that they have to f***ing

  • advertise on every pirate radio station to tell people not to carry guns (a situation that 20 years ago would have sounded ASTOUNDING, and now is just accepted)
  • clean up crimes no one gives a f*** about
  • have shit 'street' logos
  • have the worst clean up rate of any specialist met department

what is it mate. The met only cleanes up on one in ten crimes,

in any other nation developed nation that would be seen as a disgrace and the home secretary downwards would be dismissed for incompetance!

My views on this fwiw, are that Du Beke should face some sort of punishment for using a racist remark in a way that was obviously intended as an insult, in the same way that any employee should expect some sort of disciplinary action if they used this sort of language in the workplace.
But beyond that I can't understand the mentality of people who contact the bbc to complain about something they haven't seen first hand, and was particularly irritated by the bloke I heard on the radio, claiming it was all some sort of anti-muslim bbc conspiracy.

a little off topic i know , but laila rouass, you really would wouldnt you ?

Like most of her ilk at the slightest excuse go running to the press shouting raciscm.

.. and what exactly does that mean ?

Because I'm sure you have many personal examples of people going to the press reporting racism or is it simply something you just read in the papers.

Ooooooooh its the end of the world.

Run round in circles squealling racist! racist! racist! while waving your arms in the air then leap out of a third floor window yelling "there is no justice in this world".

dont watch TV so dont no the details/people.

so some dutch took the pee out of a Paki in front of a dozen Publicly employed, gaurdian reading Corperation arseholes and now we have the spanish inquesition?

If I was running a company where this happened, i would privatley reprimand the dutchy for her/his? lack of social etiquette. Find out who the shit stirrer was then "ease them out" of the company. Dont want to employ troublemakers, its not like a whistleblower who expose billions in wasted investment, is it?

It is a generalisation. Has there ever been a case where a white person has complained of racial harrasement?

I think that this is a story that has once again been blown out of all proportion. How many of us say we are going to the Paki shop to get some bread or whatever and it is not meant in a racist manner just a genaralisation of people of that colour or creed they could be Pakistani Indian or whatever.

My brother lives in Feltham near Heathrow and at his granddaughters school they wre stopped from doing a nativity play because it may have offended non christian races, is that not racist?

I have no bias whatsoever and say live and let live but in this case the girl has accepted his apologies for which he readily admits was an insensitive thing to say so why not just let the matter die.

There were FIFTEEN witnesses. If it had been her and him in a locked room together I'd agree with you, but with 15 people standing next to them it was always going to come out.

Why should it have come out they are were all employees of the BBC, do you go running to the paper with everything that happens at work assuming you are old enough to work and not at college or uni.

Out of the 15 there was possibly 1 busy body, interfeering person from whom this all came.
