Apologies if this has been covered here before, but I have been looking at the winning numbers for the raffle last Sunday.

I am also just a tad concerned that with such a quantity of tickets out there, the following four numbers all managed to come up............

068606
068611
068612
068616

With most folk getting 15 tickets each to sell, potentially one person won FOUR prizes.

Not bad going for such a big raffle!

Raises eyebrows?

Full list of winning tickets..........

1 068850
2 131554
3 050630
4 000625
5 069030
6 000653
7 066083
8 092362
9 033081
10 066179

12 064320

What do you think folks - should we report the promoter, one Martin Perry, to the Gaming Board of Great Britain under Schedule 1a of the Lotteries & Amusement Act 1976? :lolol:

This is a disgrace!!!

The club needs to address this immediatly!!

Can we request a list of winners names?

Which sellers were responsible for selling the winning tickets?

Who made the draw?

Were there witnesses?

All those tickets were drawn in private after the public ones drawn by MM at the horse racing. I think he drew the first fifteen, but I can't rmember exactly.

Mark McGhee drew the first ten tickets - and he did it absolutely fairly, rummaging around in the huge bin each time.

as 10cc say, not in hove
from what i understand from this thread, the first ten being drwan fairly is a little irrelevant isn't it cos the "batch" of tickets came out later?

I think I saw a thing on the nes about this. About 10,000 people play 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. And another c10,000 do 44, 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49.

This means that if their numbers came up on an average £5million draw they would get um.... not very much each. CHISLAS. Imagine getting all six numbers and getting about £500, you'd be gutted.

I've always found it slightly freeky that when McGhee picks a team he ends up with 11 professional footballers in the starting 11. Perhaps the man has special powers we know nothing about - or is it all slight of hand?
