Tonight I saw a big yellow circle disc type thing in the sky.... any ideas what it might be? UFO?
It wasn't lighting. Saw a couple of strange flashes coming back from Sainsbury's in Gloucester.............complete absence of thunder, so any pillock that says it was lightning is........well.........a pillock

I thought so too but was eerily quiet never seen the lighting flash from outside of the storm, bizzare

It's the Martians! They have come a year early...
I'd assume people could tell the difference between lightning and one of the Geminid meteors that are currently on display in the night sky but judging by what some people post I'm not sure I should - can't be lightning because there was no thunder for example.
