Hinsh lost 10 league games on the spin and one League Cup game.
The next 2 defeats on that 12 match losing run in the league were under Coppell.
It is all very well giving him this 'ultimatum', but doesn't it depend on who can be lined up to replace him?

It won't be long I am sure.
He didn't want to manage us in this league beforehand, so why would he now? Because he has not got a better offer of work. Why?
Vulture, I am not sure about Allen. We need a bit of stability and I would think he is keen to get back to a club in the bigger leagues. Why was he sacked from Leicester? Is he a difficult man to work with? Can we afford to clear out the coaching staff? I would rather money is spent on players as opposed to sacking the coaching staff.
I honestly think that Deano is doing a fair job and we would not be promotion contenders under any manager. He is in the process of building a team and at the moment, finances dictate that we are having to use square pegs for round holes. He deserves longer and should have this season at least, unless we are in real danger of facing relegation. We haven't been trahsed this season and we have been slightly unlucky on the odd occasion (Crewe? Gillingham and the penalties?).

didnt last season we have lots of runs where we lost a few on the bounce?
Lets wait a few years to see how good he is...after all he is learning his trade and financially I would have thought going up would not be advisable.....so long as he keeps us up until Falmer we will be happy
Dave, what happens if the crowds drop below 5,000
Bof,see where you are coming from. But Wilkins for me has some things he has to address.
1)View the game from the dug-out
2)Stop slagging off the players after the game
3)Play our best team and dont change a winning team
4)Be more postive.
I think Martin Allen would be a gamble but he could do the sort of things a certain other manager by the name of Adams done for this club
