Been absolutely pissing down all day here in West Berkshire, yet the kids' cricket tonight STILL hasn't been called off as they reckon it's 'going to clear up' My 8 year old had cross country today as well, so not sure he is going to be in the mood for it...

First time I've worn a shacket and jeans since bloody May today.

Goodwood Festival of Speed cancelled tomorrow. Hardly surprising, I was there on Thursday (very light winds compared to what's predicted tomorrow) and there were parasols flying off next to the track!

Just a sunny and warm if breezy day so far. Storm in a teacup?

Really don't think summer's been that bad personally. Unsettled days here and there and not scorchio (bar parts of June) but lots of sun, little rain and pleasantly warm temps. Certainly would rather be here than southern Europe at the moment!
