Apparently, some TIT has taken their child to Newhaven beach to 'watch the waves' and said child has been swept in.

The Newhaven Lifeboat is currently in attendance.

Oh no! That's terrible.

Yeh we posted at the same time, people are saying the child has been crushed and drowned and now lifeboat members are hurt this is not good, I went down there about an hour ago and it was quite bad but now if that's happened it must be really bad

Helicopter is still searching the sea near Newhaven harbour. Winch man has been down once, and now copter has moved around the other side of the harbour arm, still searching by the looks of it.

Helicopter and life boat have both moved back to the west side of the arm now. Tis very dark now though.
