Absolutely hammered down here in TN3 (Kent/Sussex border near Tunbridge Wells) at around 1pm. Thunder, lightening, very very frightening.

I proper SHAT myself last night, thunder, lightning, torrential rain outside the window, never seen anything like it, never been so scared.

This was my opinion from an Easyjet plane trying to land at Gatwick during the storm - Ive flown a lot in my life time, but this was one of the only times I have properly been scared during the run up to landing
