Flew in to Dublin earlier; circled a bit as difficult conditions . A bit wobbly and bumpy on landing. Torrential rain with roads quickly unable to handle water levels. Calmed down a little now, but expected to hit hard again in the early hours.

Went to the seafront at Worthing this morning as I did last Sunday.

Not a patch on Ciara which required real effort to walk against and soaked me to the skin despite all my wet weather gear!

The BBC forecasting team said this morning that by last midweek, they’d downgraded the expected winds.
