Stoke Ticket Info - a rip-off?

Albion's match against Stoke on Saturday 5th November will not be all-ticket. There are no advanced tickets for this match, but the capacity in the away end at the Britannia Stadium is over 4,500.

Entry via the turnstiles will be priced as follows:

Adults: £19.00
Over 65s: £12.00
Under 17s: £12.00
Under 11s: £9.00

Stoke City are running a local offer for reduced entry prices for home fans, but this is not available to Albion supporters.

Fuckin' hell. Is this legal? Should we not just pile into the home end and save ourselves 47% on our match ticket cost?

I thought you couldn't chanrge more to away fans than you're own most expensive ticket. or something like that. That's why i thought clubs did kids for a quid as it doesn't affect the adult price

Didn't Stoke run a ticket offer when we played them in 2003? Those reduced prices were available to everyone, which led to us taking quite a few supporters up there for a mid-week game.

we got corporate hospitality at Stoke last season for £40 I think.

That was a meal which was ok, meet their legends who were homophobic OAPs, proogramme and team sheet, seat in main stand (padded - nice) and after martch presentations which we missed as we were feeling rather unsporting due to the referee giving two nothing penalties.

Not true, there is a new rule where a club can nominate one game a season (I think) and charge lower prices, which do not have to be passed on to away fans.

I asked the insider a while back about this and his response was that the club would look into it and an announcement would be made shortly.

Where as

Albion fans will pay £19 / £12 Concessions (£9 under 11's)


As I understand it every league club is able to nominate 1 game a year as a 'reduced ticket game'. Is this a new rule?

Were Albion aware of this and were they aware that Stoke were operating this policy for our game?

What is to stop Brighton fans paying £10 and sitting in the 'home end'?


On this note are people seriously considering going in the Stoke end?

Fans should always be charged the same prices for the same game, in equivalent areas...

Whereas at Reading, the away fans should charge YOU for supplying the atmosphere....
