Listening to the fantastic Albion away support as always :salute:
I thought it was excellent today. Be prepared for a torrent of moans in our next home game.

That was an extremely painful first half followed by a pretty comfortable second. Not a great game at all though. A nice easy game at home would be nice for the next round.

Please can we have a nice plum home tie now and not a northern away day.
To be honest, would love to go to a lower-league ground in the next round. When was the last time we had an away day against a team below the Championship?? The last few I remember are Stoke (x2), Middlesbrough, West Brom and Massive.

Of course it will - I’ve supported him all along and have constantly said the same thing but it is ridiculous that he is not even getting the service to give him an opportunity to score. Ferguson was lauded as a ‘Star striker ‘ last season so the epithet isn’t misplaced imo - he is still a star striker and although he hasn’t found his form this season, there’s more to it.

Pedro gets a lion share of the service - Ferguson seems to be having far has less this season - I would say that is a weakness in our central midfield as much as anything.
Completely disagree. Confidence brings the ability to put yourself in the right positions to score, or to sniff out a chance. Ferguson just isn’t doing that at the moment, but when he gets a goal or 2, that confidence will come back

I've been saying it for weeks now but we really look well placed for the rest of the season.
Hinsh looking incredible. Pervis back. Moder getting game time. JP in GREAT form. Players coming back all the time. Webster looking fit. Welbeck looking fit. Barco and maybe one other and we could do something really special.

Sensible post. I feel for Ferguson this season the service he's frequently had has been shit. Compared to last season where we were a much better team, he had great service and so looked a lot better.

League Cup second round last season was away to Forest Green Rovers.
FA Cup 3rd round in the 2020-21 season we were away to Newport but that was played behind closed doors, otherwise you have to go back to 2016-17 season when we drew non league Lincoln away in the 4th round. So we are long overdue a lower division side away, bring on Maidstone (just don't repeat the Lincoln result).

He's struggling isn't he? Looks off the pace, poor decision making, low in confidence. Welbeck has come back at the perfect time. We all know he'll come good but he needs to be handled carefully right now.
I don't think his form is quite that bad. Indeed, Welbeck came on and missed a one on one late on. I still think Fergie is the better finisher.

Today is not about Fergie. With no Mitoma, Adringa, March there was no width first half and not a lot of service.
