Wish we'd left a few out to recharge batteries for the league.
The fringe players would likely be more interested/less exhausted & even if we'd lost we'd have lost less. If that makes any sense 😉
Yep - there is still some fatigue - I suspect mental fatigue as much as anything too - young players coming in off the bench/moving up from U23s often have more to prove so have a different kind of energy to offer.

Facundo is a bit of a pansy isn’t he ? Always staying down and complaining. It’s getting on my nerves. And getting a yellow for waving an imaginary yellow card like a snitch. Other than that, a good player.
Struggling to like him at the moment. Undoubted quality and potential but how long will the histrionics go on?

Just got back from a family gathering (strategically) for the second half

Heard the Perv’s goal go in on the radio, anyone got a clip?

If he were regularly putting in 8 or 9/10 performances I'd probably enjoy his particular brand of knobbery but as it is he just seems a bit of a twat.

I can now add "Dunk's having a shocker" to the commentary behind me.

Buonanotte needs to cut that rolling around shit out.

There was a thread a few weeks back which was about, or the conversation evolved to, diving. I mentioned that he is one of our players that goes down dramatically and feigns injury a lot. Most people ignored the post, there was only one response and that was a steadfast denial that he does it (if it was sarcastic, the sarcasm was well hidden).

In his every appearance since then he's gone down holding his face when tapped on the leg etc. I was begining to feel like I was imagining it. It's reasurring to see other people picking up on it (Warren has been picking up on it in this game, too).

It's every game. He'll be targeted by refs soon and could have been booked (sent off) for a dive at the very end of the half. It's pathetic. He's been playing for a year now, surely he's been told to cut it out?

No real pace or creativity on the flanks.

We’re missing the likes of Enciso, March, Fati, Mitoma, Lamptey and Adingra a lot.
