You're correct, he did! Happens quite often during football matches! Positional tactics are trained into professional footballers, and therefore they take these positions when defending things like corners or other set pieces, around their penalty areas "some" uninitiated onlookers may think that it was luck them standing there when all the time it's deliberate.
