I would think Southampton might have something to say about that then.

They'd have to lose by 9 and Carlisle win by 9, or something ridiculous.
They CANNOT go down this season even with the -10

There is no chance they will go down this season with a deduction. They have a goal difference of +3. There would have to be some RIDICULOUS results for them to be relegated!

I thought pionts deductions happen before the end of March, if clubs go into Admin after that then the points are taken off the following season?

remember that big crap Leeds fest, happened to them , they got relegated went into Admin and had the points taken off them in their relegation season not the next season IIRC?

What if they got -15 for some reason?

If they got -15 they would be on 45 meaning they could not catch us. Crewe are unlikely to catch us so I would say that would almost make us safe.

On another note the FL need to sort this out. Why one rule for one and another for another? Stockport can't go down (realistically) so the deduction should be next season like Southampton's.

Like a Southampton Fan said on the TV and I sort oif mis-quote but you get the jist:

"Why are the Fans made to pay for Directors mistakes?, we get the points deduction and the Directors just walk away having sold the club to someone else to pick up the pieces, why are the Directors not punished and its us the Fans that get the blame?"

Basically the FA and FL need to sort the whole mess of Administration out, especially if a Club gets taken over then they should IMO have their points back.

I understand the point, to a degree. However, all that was happening before this rule was that teams (such as Leicester) were placed into administration, and then bought out again, relatively debt free, by exactly the same people that previously owned the club. It was effectively a way of reducing debts without major penalty. At least now owners of clubs are not going into administration unless there is a dire need.

I think if it worked in such a way that Directors were subject to punishment themselves, given the volatile nature of the football industry you simply wouldn't have anyone willing to be a Director.
