Stockport fan here, just thought I'd drop you a quick message to let you know about a march County fans are undertaking today.

This article explains it all

Also while I'm here it would be great if you could have a look at this site which was launched yesterday by County fans to try and get together basic equipment that the administrators are denying the manager and players (things like bandages and believe it or not ICE!!!).

Thanks for taking a look

There are more than a few Albion who would turn out at future demos.

Probably more sympathy for Counties plight among us than anyone else in the league given the similarities between our situation, under Archer and Bellotti, and yours.

Is there a fighting fund that any who wish to can contribute to?

Good luck fella.

Thanks Bevendean Hillbilly, if anyone would like to contribute the countyunite website is probably best as the equipment will be bought and given to the manager rather than administrators getting their hands on it. There is not a fighting fund as such as it is really out of our hands. The march today is mainly about raising awareness and hopefully shaming the administrators into pulling their fingers out.

One of the most annoying things about all of this is the fact that the administrators fees are now larger than the £300k we were forced into admin over.

anyone up for having an nsc whip round to help SCFC?? i will happily give money and organise the money so becoms a gift

I'd donate. I know people will take the piss about having love ins with other clubs etc but we should all remember the help we received when we were in trouble. Fans United, will never be defeated.

Philcounty, good luck with the protests, you guys obviously have the right idea with doing marches. Anything that attracts press attention is good, you need to make people stand up and take notice. Unfortunately that is easier said than done, it took people pulling the goalposts down to get proper attention for us.

It's a shame our game up there will be midweek, if there was a protest on a saturday I'm sure they'd be a fair turnout from us just for old time sake.

I am all in favour of helping out other clubs dont get me wrong, but I have looked at the list and its all gym equipment, do they not have Gym's up North.

Also what if in the game against us one of their players our muscles our defenders (lets face it not hard) to score the winner, it would have been our money that developed the muscles.

Had it been to just keep the club afloat I would be more than willing to chip in

Thanks for all the kind words of support guys.

To Cullip4: We have a £900 per week contract to rent gym equipment which according to the manager only around 10% of which is in working order. The administrators will not allow us to cancel this contract or provide an alternative so it is pretty essential that the players are provided with the equipment they require. So far the coaching staff have dipped into their own pockets for some of it, but our manager raised the issue at a recent fans forum and one fan in particular decided to take action. He has secured ice from local supermarkets free of charge and also other equipment, but asked the manager for a list of equipment that they required. We are trying to raise money to at least allow our players to train and rehabilitate from injury with a basic standard of equipment which should be considered a given.

We cannot raise money to save the club as the administrators own us now until a buyer can complete a deal with them. The equipment we purchase will be owned by a fans organisation "Help the Hatters" and used by the staff of County without admin getting there hands on it.

I'm not here to beg for you to donate I just want to make you aware of the facts.

p.s. With our young squad six months in the gym wouldn't be enough to prepare them for out muscling anyone.
