i think kuipers can consider himself a lucky man only getting a 1 match ban,the ref has done well leaving the protest out of the match report

Probably helped that he apologised at half time, which wouldn't have been too long after the incident.

Depends on which Albion team turns up and how many are left on the pitch come the final whistle, really couldn't predict the score going by the season openers.
A bit unsettling really as I hadn't reached this point last season till well over half way.

Have a horrible feeling that after Tuesday night we will hammer the Stockport end all afternoon, have at least one goal disallowed for offside and they will sneak it 1-0 right at the death ....

Oh the joys of supporting the Albion

My team for the game, Kuipers suspended?

Smith (GK)

Tunnicliffe (RB)
Elphick (CB)
Virgo (CB)
Whing (LB)

Bennett (RW)
Dicker (CM)
Crofts (CM)
Wright (LW)

Forster (F)
Dickinson (F)

Subs.
Davies
Cox
5 others

4-4-2 with two wingers supplying the big bastard and clever little(ish) player up front, the two fellas in the middle to win the ball and supply the wingers/forwards. Keep it simple, division 3 players forget things.

Exactly the team id pick......4-4-2 please!!! Nice big win for us tomorrow to get the season up and running!!

I can't make tomorrow's game, so the Albion are bound to win comfortably.
Two home games I missed last season - 4-1 v Millwall
5-0 v Yeovil

I can see this game going one of three ways:

1) Brighton rip stockport apart
2) Brighton struggle and the fans reaction will be entertaining in that "it's just a game/we're only 4 games into the season/get a grip man!" way.

3) or if the footballing gods hate me and don't want me to be entertained by the above
it'll be an anticlimactic match (either a 1-0 win for brighton in a fair match, or a draw that involves a 'respectable, especially after tuesday' preformance from our lads

Corals have Stockport @ 10-3.

Personally I think it will be nearer 1-1, as I can't see us scoring 3.:lol:
