Sting being interviewed by the Stotts is still the greatest interview ever.

Loved the Police and liked his early solo stuff. However, there's just something about his demeanor that irks. Below is a recent brilliant interview but it's only great because the interview intelligently draws the stuff out of Sting who looks really bored at first.

Talented yes but in my view certainly not in the top 5 most talented musicians to come from the UK.

Apparently he & his wife are also known to be extremely tight , taking the lightbulbs out from a multi million pound house they sold a few years ago in London .

A friend of mine met him a few years back in the Bahamas and said he was very full of himself .

Yes, and let's not forget all that tantric ' I can shag for hours ' boasting.

When you're as great as Sting why would you hold back about how good you are?

I have got 3 minutes in and he is already irritating me. Pompous and self important doesn't even begin to cover it.

Love him, we love him, we love him,
And that’s the way we like it, we like it, we like it,
Because we all follow The Sting, The Sting, The Sting,
Wooo, oooh, ooh, ooh, ooh...
