He choose the wrong team for the second game running , needs to learn quickly, needs to be a bit more clever against the big teams away from home

What was wrong with the team that comfortably outplayed and beat Norwich then ?

The way United played , there wasnt anything tactically that would of got us a result with the players we have and the players they have.

Not even worth analysing IMO.

Leicester next
Not sure I agree. Man u have been poor this season. We made them look better than they are by completely handing the game to them on a plate.

With Hughton, I was craving the odd adventurous attacking display, with Potter, I am craving the occasional solid defensive performance.

Defensive problems will catch up with us again in the next run of games. No confidence of being solid at the back even if we had Dunk and Webster available. It's the only fault with Potter's style. Everything else is a joy to watch when we play well.

I'm not sold on Potter yet. Maybe he needs another two or three transfer windows.to make changes.

This is about where I am too. I am just fearful that as the season goes on we will become increasing disorganised and pay the penalty come the end.

I think the biggest problem we might have is a complete meltdown in confidence. That would be disastrous to Potter’s style which seems to me, to rely on confidence. I’m not sure he has back to basics defending in his armoury to build it back up either. Next three games will be interesting and probably painful as an Albion fan.

I still believe we will have enough to just about survive, I expect us to end up closer to relegation than mid table though.

Whilst we don’t have quite the Hughton solidity (or safety in numbers perhaps), we’re doing OK so far. We’ve conceded the same no of goals as Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal and less than 8 other teams.

V worried about what Leicester will do to us without Dunk and Webster though.

We haven't been tested at home yet apart from Everton. We have away and for the most part it hasn't been pretty. As i've mentioned before, the home games have been very kind to us with the added bonus of Spurs being crap.

Can’t see the Potter problem at all. Can only remember 3 games that we got the negative result we deserved. Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd, so no surprise there. Performances in some of the other games warranted more points, Burnley comes to mind. And compared to the previous seasons it is a pleasure to travel the length of the country knowing you are going to be entertained. It’s not going to be easy with injuries, players who aren’t at ‘the levels’ but it looks good from my view.

I still have faith. No shame in losing to this Leicester side, there’ll only be two teams better than them this season.

Potter has clearly shown what a unique managerial talent he is. His tactical switching and progressive style is impressive even in defeat.

Playing this kind of football makes me proud to be a fan.

Potter will go down as a legend at our club.

I'd prefer it if he stays up as a legend

At the end of the day, it is mostly about the quality of the players. My instinct is that CH realised the quality wasn't there and went for shell tactics, which just didn't work.

GP has gone more gung ho; against the better teams this has not worked - soundly beaten by Leicester, Man U, Man C, and Chelsea - but has been more successful against the rest.

I am not convinced the quality is a whole lot better then last season but probably enough to keep us up.
