because you save money over the season , you want to support the club financially, guaranteed "your" seat and can be with mates etc.

Plenty of reasons.

That's whuy i would buy one if i thought i would make enough games to make it finacially worth while.

Basically to complete the transaction in one go and therefore not need to worry about sorting out a ticket per game.

But doesn't buying tickets on a match-by-match basis cost more money - ergo making more money for the club

???

Because I want to be guaranteed a seat, and it helps MY CLUB to plan its finances better. Get as much money up front, it's in the bank. They then don't have to rely upon fickle fans who only want to attend when they feel like it.

If Knight a Perry left i'd be more inclined to buy one.

But then there wouldn't be a club.

I used to buy mine because it meant that I didn't have to apply for tickets to big cup games because the tickets always miraculously arrive on my doormat with zero effort needed on my part.

That is how it works isn't it?

1. Convenience of getting my tickets all in one go.
2. Sit in the same seat with whom I want to sit with.
3. Makes financial sense.
4 May gaurantee me a ticket for one off games.

Every year I say I am going to put the money for each game into the bank each week so that when renewal time comes I dont have to find a lump sum but as yet I have never done it, perhaps next season.

Basically because it wasn't too long ago that it was the only way you could guarantee to get in.

Now with the stadium capacity extended and crowds down to just over 5,000, the attractions of getting a season ticket are much less than they used to be.

In that context, it would surely be sensible business practise for Knight/Perry to come up with additional incentives to ensure people renew.

It's going to be a long old struggle to get to Falmer if Lewes succeed in reopening the inquiry and surely the club survival will depend on keeping 4,000 people handing over £2 million, year-in, year-out.

The floating fans have melted away since the crowds we got at the beginning of the season, and season ticket holders now make up over 80 per cent of the Albion crowd. Knight/Perry need a charm offensive to these people prior to the renewal requests going out in a couple of months' time.
