OK Folks, this is not totally scientific but here goes. After 100 votes I have estimated how many STH’s will be at each level of loyalty points. I’m working off a total of 20,000 season tickets (I know there are more but just keeping it rounded to keep me sane)
Obviously we have only had 100 people to estimate this on so we could be way out but interesting to give us a vague idea. Bit of guess work so don;t shoot me for being bored.

Number of points - Estimated Number of STH’s on those points after 100 votes
Above 400 points – 1200 STH’s
Between 350 and 400 – 1600 STH’s
Between 300 and 350 – 1600 STH’s
Between 250 and 300 – 5000 STH’s
Between 200 and 250 - 6400 STH’s
Between 150 and 200 - 1600 STH’s
Between 100 and 150 – 1000 STH’s
Between 50 and 100 – 600 STH’s

If this is anywhere close to being correct anyone above 300 points should easily get any away tickets going.

Thanks. I tend to agree: anyone with 300+ STHP (at the start of the season) should be ok. However, one has to then question why the club's own example indicates that the first tranche could go to those with 150+.

"1. STH with 150+ points
2. STHs with 60+ points
3. All STHs
4. Bronze/YS+ members with 250+ points
5. Bronze/YS+ members with 100+ points
6. All Bronze/YS+ members"

Either our assessments are wrong, or the club's are, or the club have posited an example that just will never happen in reality. I know it's just an "example", but one would hope and expect the example to be at the very least plausible. I'm not convinced it is - at least for the first tranche. We'll see...when Leicester goes on sale in just over a week.

If they have any sense, to test the water, say 250 looks about right for the first bash. Then see where they stand, rather than set themselves up for any backtracking.

As mentioned before, the novelty of our first PL game away combined with new season enthusiasm and the wish for some points holders to increment their tally might well make demand quite high.

Could be wrong though.

If I was a betting man, I would go for 300 being the point for 1st dibs!

No way on earth 1200 people have 400+. 500 people tops, probably even less.

Agreed, someone I know who's had a ST since Withdean and has been to practically every game has 490, can't see another 1K going as often as he does..

I annoyingly have 349, will be pissed if the cut off starts at 350 :'(

Although in aware of how you came to those figures, they are completely out. Absolutely no way there are over 9000 people with more than 250..

The new system still bears a relation to points last year, in which case me having under 250 now but still getting tickets to Brentford and Villa last season suggests either those numbers are mega inflated or I was very very very lucky!

No offence, but unless you're going to go through the ballache of taking the considerable variables - i.e. number of season ticket holders vs overall attendance over the past 8 years, this is all a bit pointless.

There were 16,000 in the first year - whereas I think we've at around 23-25,000 now.

The largest majority of season ticket holders would be below 250 - even with a handful of away games. I firmly don't believe there is over 8200 STH's with over 250 points.

Makes it a nightmare to predict - but seems more sensible than needlessly winding up anyone with less than 200 points.

I would guess between 200-300

By my calculations if somebody did every away game in the last six seasons and did say 4 cup games a season they would have about 280 points to add to their 180 for a six year STH which is 460

Decent stab but I suspect the respondents on here aren't truly representative and the numbers will be skewed at the higher end if anything.

First tranche somewhere between 250 and 300 for the first away game I reckon.

Yep, me too. So why then publish an "example" showing 150+ for first dibs?

Loads on other groups assuming this is the actual starting point..........clearly haven't read or understood the blurb, but agree would've made more sense to use something a bit more realistic

I am, I imagine, a fairly average supporter. Season ticket since 3rd season at Amex, go to home cup games and easy away games, and I've got 286 points total. I've always got tickets I went for. So even if there is more interest in away tickets this season I would imagine anything above 250 should be OK (except 'muff).

Like I said it's just guess work in no way ment to wind anyone up! I have less that 200 Points and did it for myself firstly so thought i'd post.

'Muff should be okay now it's a Friday on TV. Expect it to sell out but suspect anyone with 250+ should be ok so long as they don't hang about. Time will tell of course!
