took about ten of them to tackle ONE brighton fan and even then they struggled!

Someone, in one of the threads relating to the game, said that people were removed because they were drinking beer in the ground.

Whether that's accurate or not, I don't know because I sadly wasn't there, I'm just saying what someone else had reported.

That was me reporting. The three of them came back about 5 mins in to the second half all clutching a beer and one of them sat just behind me.

All it needed was an alert steward on the stairs when they came in and the trouble would have been completely avoided. For some reason, drinking in the stands is always dealt with over-zealously.

When we went there for the league game i took my beer all the way to the top of the stand past abot 10 coppers and even more stewards and no-one noticed except for one knobby copper who made me walk allt he way back down to the concource!

was chatting to the bloke on the way ack home on the train, the stewards had it in for him and his mates from the start, and the reason was for drinking beer

Can't remember you.Was quite pissed.We never stopped singing,drinking or smoking in the first class.It was very entertaining i must say.
