I thought this thread was about how to lift them and throw them into the sandpit.

As a percentage of the ticket price, or a fixed service charge included?

Discuss.....

Seeing as most of them are supporters and watching the game for free, nought:wave:

I think at 180 degrees to the ground from a height of no less than 40 feet.

:)

Seriously though. The stewards at Withers are top people. Dunno why some fans choose to get their knickers in a twist about 'em.

Or used as a missile into the away end when we play Millwall.

Agree 100%, all the ones I speak to are fine.

I'd take the Withdean ones any time over the ones I've encounted at certain away grounds every time.

It's not the stewards who should be paid in tips, it's the match officials.

There should be a collection at the end of the game for the referee and linos. That would give them an incentive to perform well.

They shouldn't get tipped. Infact one of your lot threw me out yesterday with about ten minutes to go. I wasn't bothered as we we're playing awful anyway.

She had a run in with one of our drivers as well. He asked if there was anywhere he could have a quick fag, she said something along the lines of "If you want a fag, its that way" - pointing towards the exit and grimacing as if she's great because she's wearing the jacket and think she's hollier than thou.

I've seen a lot worse though. Your stewards were fairly sound apart from that one with, nevermind a chip, more like a potato on her shoulder.
