Steve is very well recognised. When he came to my wedding reception there were people from far afield asking if he WAS the lovable one from London's Burning?

Mind you, he was gazumped by someone recognising another of my friends from the Haribo advert!!

I've seen that ad!

He was also one of the main characters in P'Tang Yang Kipperbang.

Aaah - you see, here's the clever bit. When an ACTOR performs in a show, what they basically do is PRETEND to be a different person. They are actually told what to say, and how to act. That's why if you meet one in real life they tend to not be exactly like they are on the show in question.

Btw was talking with Paul Hodson about the reprint for Build a Bonfire, and we thought a paperback version with a couple of extra chapters re-interviewing the original people would be good, published on the same date as the opening game at Falmer. Sort of the true end of the story.

Good news about the reprint, but could I also add the following.

Personally I hope there's a little more than just a couple of chapters interviewing the likes of Paul and Atilla.

Since the book has been written, SO much more has gone on - the Gillingham Years, Bring Home the Albion, the YES/Yes campaign, the Marches, sit ins,National Falmer Day,Flowers to Prescott, letters, Public Inquiry, Appeals,Labour Party Conference, more letters,LDC, Forfars, ASDA, the list could go on and on.

I really hope that ther's a good acount of all of these events, so that all of of kids and indeed grand childrn get to know the full story of the Albion's plight. By the time we get to Falmer we will have been away from the Goldstone for 13/14 years!

Anyway, just my thoughts like!

agreed but rather than a few more chapters added to BAB why not do a seperate 'follow up' book detailing all that has happend,
