It was a dive. Yes, there was contact, but only because Gerrard stuck his leg out to ensure that he made contact with Freidel.

Looked to me like a dive. It was a shocking decision anyway. I was surprised how well Roy Keane took it. He's certainly calmed down a bit since his playing days!

The problem is that in the Premiership it's more high profile; unfortunately you just don't get super-slow-mo replays from ten different angles at the Withdean.

It's an unsavoury part of football; so people are right to highlight it and speak out against it. Of course we are generally much more accepting when it goes our way, but I'd much rather that it was removed from the game altogether than rely on a dodgy decision where someone has dived to win us a game 1-0.
