My son's girlfriend's grandad, Steve Nye, is in hospital with confirmed corona virus. He is slowly making progress and feels a bit better today but he has underlying health issues so he's by no means out of the woods.

With his family's permission I am posting this for anyone who knows him (or anyone else) to send him best wishes.

It will be encouraging for many of us if an elderly person with 'underlying health conditions' can and does recover and survive, so fingers crossed for this gentleman. Good luck sir.

ESU....the best ...WHEN he gets through it will as GT49er be such an encouragement and an achievement for him.

I pop along to football on my own but have got to know so many of the people sitting around me and I so look forward to the moment when I hope to see them all again
