Thought Steve was on top form last night. I must be getting old, but the Brighton Centre acoustic actually sounded good as well.... I also thought Amanda's voice was fine for shadow.

Yes, we commented how good the sound was compared to previous experiences at Brighton Centre. I also was fine with AL … it’s just a thing Mrs HS has with her tone and style of singing I think it was hearing her singing on Ripples that did it for her!

11 February 1971, the first time I saw Genesis at the Dome

I was either at that concert, or another triple bill with Genesis plus or minus one year?? with Audience maybe?? the memory is fading ...but Gabriel on stage with costume changes was just something else

They also toured as part of another Charisma package, but this time VDGG were replaced by the rather different Rab Noakes!
